Why the heck are my questions getting deleted/reported?

I just asked a question to rate my display picture from 1-10. Why was it deleted?

2. That is a classic example of a chat violation. You need to reread that section of the rules.
3. They are considered chat violations. It would be good for you to read the community guidelines a little more closely. When you ask a question, it should be for the purpose of seeking generally useful knowledge or advice. "Rate me" questions do not benefit anybody knowledge-wise and if they were allowed would quickly clog up sections of the site. There are other sites where one can be rated but Answers isn't one of them.
