Does anyone know any information on The Six Flags Wild Safari "ride" in Jackson, NJ?
We're planning on going to the Six Flags Wild Safari place in New Jersey, but they aren't giving me any of this info on the website. Has anyone been there? Are you allowed to bring video cameras, digital cameras to take pics of the animals? Is there a separate entrance you have to go to to get tickets to drive around, or do you get tickets at the main gate? We have a pretty long ride from NY to Jackson, we've never been there, we don't wanna get lost or messed up. Thanx for your help.

- Yes, you can bring digital cameras, video cameras, etc. Basically you drive through the safari in your car...so whatever is in your car is usually fine. It's a really cool experience...sometimes you have animals come up to your car or monkeys jumping on it. I think you get tickets at the main gate (there is only one entrance if thats what you mean---then you will get divided up depending on what section you go to first). It's been a while since I was last there, so I honestly don't remember the exact details. Plus, I have always had tickets already. Just get there early and you won't have any problem getting around....there are lots of people/signs to guide you.
- It's not a ride, but a drive through safari, which you can drive through in your car. It used to be included in the cost of admission to the park, but now they charge extra which you can pay for when you buy your regular tickets. You can take pictures and video tape all you like.
