Why is my camera taking ugly pictures? ?

I love my camera it's my baby! I take it everywhere I go. It's a Canon Powershot SD1300 . It's always taken amazing pictures. And now all of the sudden it's taking really weird pictures.. It will make it blurry and it's gonna make the picture really bright and blurry to the image in the center but it's not gonna show the background it'll make it really dark... I don't know whaat to do! Help!

1. have you dropped it??? have you stopped using AUTO??? there are all sorts of things that can change with a camera... especially if you carry it everywhere and it gets knocked...
2. Off to the camera repair shop for you! Sounds like there is something wrong with the hardware - dirt or something broken.
3. I think you have inadvertently changed some settings and not realized it. Could of broken it? Well that is certainly an option, but perhaps not. It sounds to me that the aperture is wide open with a slow shutter. This is something that can be solved without having the camera repaired, as its a setting. Check out your manual and see if you can figure out why it's doing what it is.
4. Why is my keyboard about to type mean things? User error is the most likely cause. If you want a more detailed explanation, you should post some example photos.
5. Get out your owners manual. Find how to reset the camera to all it's factory default settings. If that does not solve the problem, then there is likely a problem with the camera. Repairing it may cost more than replacing it. steve
