- pug...maltese have TERRIBLE health issues...and in my opinion their hideous...
- they're both prone to diseases. go with the maltese. the pug will get fat if doesn't have enough exercise. plus they snort and snore.
- They're both adorable when they're small, but I think that Maltese are cuter in the long run.
- Neither. Keep looking!
- pug
- PUG
- both have health issues and neither is "cute"
- dont get a dog based on cuteness! Google "dog breed selector" and use one of those to help you select a breed that is suitable for your lifestyle.
- They both have their pros and cons. I think they are both cute. Pugs sometimes have breathing problems, my Aunt has one that weezes. But they are easier to take care of grooming wise. Malteses are very hard to groom. You have to brush their hair everyday or it will get terribly tangled and get them groomed once a month at least. I think Malteses are beautiful dogs though. No matter what anyone says, all small dogs are prone to health problems. I have a Pomeranian and as long as you take good care of them they will live long heathly lives.
- Pug. Sure they snort sometimes and get chubby if you don't exercise them enough, but they are a lot easier to take care of. When they shed, it's only thin hair that you won't notice and you don't have to groom them as much. Plus, Maltese always look dirty around the face from having long hair around their mouth. They are both okay looking, but I would choose a pug.
- The pug is much cuter
- I think a pug. They are so ugly that its cute....Maltese are just so plain looking.
- OK listen I have a Black female Pug (Piper) and that is the dog I have always wanted. After about 5 months It started to have a clear leakage coming from the butt. It smelt like fish so we took her to the vet and they said all Pugs do this and it is there anal glands. Every month (or less) they have this problem. You have to take them to the vet to get the anal glands released and they are one of the hardest dogs to train according to the vet. So I would go with the maltese
- PUG!!!!!! i have a pug.he is the best.they r hyper but great family pet...they have to be with you all the time or atleast when your home ..they follow you from room to room he even sits outside the shower and waits....they snore or whatever you want to call it but then again so doesn't my husband :+) they do have breathing problems and in the summer you have to make sure they don't over heat...but they r so cute when they look at you tilting their heads ...they definetly make ya melt....good luck with your choice but i say pugs rule!!!!
