My Canon camera is uploading pictures weird?

I have a Canon Powershot A3100, and the pictures show up fine on the camera. When I hook up my memory card to the computer I can upload the pictures but when they're uploaded they have weird coloured lines through them This has happened before I downloaded the software I needed to upload the pictures, and when I did it worked but now it's doing it again?

1. I would quit taking photos of things with weird colored lines through them. This should help your problem and your photos will look better.
2. I'd suggest this. All of us regulars here use and recommend USB card readers for upload. They're not expensive and they're quick and simple. I've been using readers for years with no extra software and no cable.
3. Hmm... Uninstall that software and try again. You only need My Computer in Windows or Finder in the Mac to copy files from the camera to the computer.
