  1. Yes, it sounds good. This appears to be an HP, Media Edition. You're getting plenty of RAM and hard disk space as well as 64 bit Windows 7. Since it's a 15.6" screen it will be a little heavier than the 14". You should be able to pick this up for about $600 which is pretty good for what you are getting. Good choice. Good Luck at School.
  2. It looks pretty good. Have you taken a look at a tablet PC? I have one and the ability to write on the screen is quite handy.
  3. Yeah It Seems Like A Good Laptop! Good Luck! Hope It Works Awesome!
  4. For the uses you specified, that laptop will be an excellent fit. Just don't try to use it to play 3D graphic games.
  5. I am not much of a computer whiz, but I am a college student. I personally went with an HP because they are easier/cheaper to get fixed if they tear up. Where as a dell or mac I have heard are way more expensive. Hope this helps (:
  6. Apple is the way to go.
  7. Try Leawo DVD Creator!I think it is the easiest software i have ever tried, to burn video to dvd with menu.Download Leawo Free DVD Creator here: http://www.leawo.com/dvd-creator/It must can help you, good luck!
  8. Well this is a good laptop for student but I always suggest for students that they should go for a Refurbished laptops which are really nice. Recently I cam across Dell Latitude D620 coming with Core 2 Duo processor T5600 and with good specifications. Providing you the website from where you can purchase this laptop
