Is this laptop the best for my money?

I want to be able to run the Sims 3 with no problem. Other than that it will be used for tumblr, facebook, email, etc. just the basics. I've heard this processor is one of the best? 4. A MacBook is the best, but they are pricey. From the specs there it looks a good laptop, and you won't have any problem running Sims 3. You shouldn't have any problem running any other PC games either. Hope this helped :)
5. You didn't say what your budget was or how much that system is, but it is a very nice configuration and will play Sims 3 and run the software you mentioned with no problems. The Core iX processors are Intel's newest. The Core i7s are the very fastest, but they are very rare in notebooks. The Core i5 series is faster than i3, but the i3 is still a very nice CPU for laptops. Faster than the older Core 2 Duo series from Intel and faster than the Athlon X2 processors from AMD. 4GB of RAM is more than you'll ever use with the applications you mentioned. The hard drive is a nice size, could be bigger, but if you're not planning on storing a bunch of movies on the drive it will be more than you'll use for having games and programs installed. The Graphics Media Accelerator is powerful enough for games like Sims 3. Everything else is pretty much standard fare. Good light weight. Overall a very nice new laptop for the purposes you require.
