- I'm new to photography and don't know much about it, but I'll try to give advice :) I'd say the most important things to pay attention to are lighting and composition. Those two things can make or break a photograph. Find a subject that other people have photographed over and over, and bring a fresh perspective to it. Play around with angles and depth of the field and see where it takes you. I really like 59, the black and white one with the leaf. It's unique and gritty. I also like 74. Nice angle! As for upgrading your camera, go for it! New cameras with new features can open a world of possibilities. Just make sure you learn how to use it properly and take good care of it. I don't live near NYC, so I don't have any suggestions for classes, but I definitely recommend taking some. You have a lot of potential! I wish you the best of luck.
- Constructive criticism takes some effort to look at the work and think about the reply. It is nice to feel that the recipient has at least looked at the reply. You have asked this same question 10 times now, several in just the last couple of days. You are not even bothering to reply, comment, or pick best answers. Are you even reading what people have to say? Of course, it is your prerogative to ask, reply, and choose as you please. IMO, you are wasting your time, and the time of folks who would have been glad to help you progress. As for needing a new camera, you have not exhausted the possibilities or approached the limits of the camera you have now. A new camera will just produce the same beginner snapshots that your old one is producing. Making an improvement to your skill is up to you. Have a happy.
