pics! why are my cats so needy? is it because of there breed?

My cat Will is always crying non stop because he wants me to stop what i'm doing and pet him. He is always around me and i cant even sit down with out him all over me. When i'm sleeping, he has to sleep on my head and when i try to move him he screams. My other cat is also always around me when i sit or lay down all the time. Carmen is always following me, and when im trying to read or do anything, she wants me to stop every 10 mins to pet her. I love them all so much, and i rescued them all since they were babies(im in animal rescue) but why wont they leave me alone. 1. Except for Carmen, they're domestic short hairs. Carmen appears to be a Himalayan. They are likely highly attached to you.
2. with any animal that u rescue u run into the problem of them becoming overly attatched. that is somewhat normal. to avoid this process, u could try trainin them. YES cats can be trained, just like dogs. try giving them less attention for the actions u do not approve of. When they follow u just walk into a room and close the door make them sit outside for about 30 secs. u can also spray them with a water bottle they do hate it but they will learn from it eventually. hope this helped.
