what are some of your favorite (simple) office pranks?
i work in a small office (less than 10 co-workers) and two of us have teamed up to start a prank war. nothing too crazy (like the tin foil office prank would be too much) but, for example, someone suggested putting a doorbell in the ceiling tile and making it ding throughout the day. another one is dipping the tips of pens into clear nail polish so they wont write. any other good ideas??

- superglue mouse to the pad
- If you have access to a shipping area, you could swipe the shrink wrap and wrap up the entire office separately - the chair, monitor, mouse, pen jar...etc...a roll of saran wrap would work in a pinch too... :)
- Move the entirety of someone's office outside, and set it up perfectly.
- ok here's what you do: Take some glue. Pore it on the person's chair. Then break the chair. Just the part you sit on, make it come off. So when the person sits down on it for a couple hours and gets up the seat will come with them. or: If you have a computers... switch the person's computer with another computer. either it's password protected and they can't get in or they'll think they lost all of their work. or: if there are wheels on the chair... take the wheels off.

- If you are up to date and use a mouse without the ball in it, you can put a post-it note under the mouse so it won't be able to move the pointer on the screen. When I did this, coworkers would be checking connections and trying to figure out what was wrong with their computers. I would also write a note on the post-it. Another good one that needs a little planning is targeting your coworkers car. You can put butter on their wipers. Or if the car is front wheel drive, you can jack the car up just enough so the tires aren't touching the ground (vice versa if it's real wheel drive. The target will be clueless why his car isn't moving.
