do you have any weird hunting traditions after taking an animal ?

examples- get drunk,smoke a cigar,eat its liver,take inappropriate picture, ect. I thought of this question the other day when I remembered me and me father have a tradition were after shooting a buck, we field dress it in the woods and hang it genitals from a tree in hopes our other hunting buddy's will stumble upon it and ask "WTF is that?" just a tradition so what about yours?

1. When I killed my first deer, my Dad dipped two fingers in the blood and put some on both of my cheeks, and my forehead. I asked why. He said tradition.
2. Well, my father did this to me and then I did it to my son.......when you shoot your first buck you have to take a bite of the heart.....other than that, if there are other hunters hunting in the same area as me....we have a lease and know everyone, we wait till they all call each other asking who fired the shot....gets them all rilled up not knowing who did it...
3. I go shopping! Seriously though, the guys in the gun club say it is tradition to drink the deers blood after the kill. I will leave the blood drinking,smearing,heart eating and testicle hanging to you boys though....... just a little tmi lol.
4. i always try to keep something from the animal as a reminder whether it be an antler or a lucky rabbits foot
5. After a kill I find a large stick and beat myself bloody while yelling “who’s your daddy, who’s your daddy!!” Just kidding lol My dad taught me to thank the animal and God for the food it will provide. My granddad apologized to the deer. I do both.
6. Upon killing my first deer the stalker dipped his fingers in the blood and marked both cheeks and my forehead. The same was done when we had the tradition fox hunts in the UK.
7. I smoke a cigar before the hunt, then get drunk during hunting. After the kill I strip myself of all clothing and field dress while giving thanks and praise to Ted Nugent. After a ritualistic dance around the animal I eat the testicals and then usally pass out from exhaustion.........OR I clean it and eat it, I will let you decipher the truth.
8. I pray for it. I respect the animals that I kill, it puts food on my table and I am extremely thankful. Plus, disrespecting the body (ie hanging genitals on a tree) only tells the anti hunters that we are a bunch of dumb hayseeds that have no respect for life. I have drank deer blood, its great. Its even better after it clots and it makes blood balls.
