What breed is this dog. Picture.?
I was looking at some old Loldogs and I saw this one of a really beautiful dog (Even though you can't see all of it, it's still lovely) What breed(s) is this. Just curious. http://ihasahotdog.com/2010/02/18/funny-dog-pictures-magnetik-goggie/ Thanks in advance.

- Boarder collie (cross?)
- My guess is it's a cross breed - maybe a Boarder Collie x Blue Heeler. It's definitely a working dog - maybe a sheep dog.
- Looks like a border collie or a mix breed within that group.
- It looks like a type of collie to me. It is possible it is a cross-breed but I am pretty sure it is collie or has collie in it. Edit - Sorry, UK here I mean Border Collie when I say collie, think other countries mean something else!
- Austrailian sheaperd for sure
- It's a Border Collie. They can look like that with the ticking.
- I think it's an Australian Shepherd. - Border Collie, or Border Collie mix maybe. Definitely not an Australian Shepherd, look at its tail. PS.. Actually Clumsical Australian Shepherds do not have tails, they are docked at birth. There was a movement to breed Aussies with tails in the early 90's, dog is called a Basque Shepherd. Also the dog in the picture legs are 2 long and thin, Aussies have short, stockier leg, different body type. Dog in the picture does resemble a Basque Shepherd, except again for the legs and body type.
- Full blood border collie Marlyn, I don't want to sound like a jerk, but Australian shepherds can have long tails. Actually, in many countries it has become illegal to dock tails, so there is a resurgence in Aussies with tails. And besides, some just aren't docked at birth, which means that *if* there was a chance that that was an Australian shepherd, the tail would not be an indication that it isn't. There are, however, many other reasons why that isn't an Australian shepherd. It's body shape screams Border collie, Australian shepherds are stockier.
- austrian shephard ( "aussie" )
- Australian Shepherds CAN have tails...in fact, unless they're born with a natural bobbed tail, they DO have tails until they're docked at about 2-5 days of age. That said, they certainly *shouldn't* have tails...it goes aginst the standard and the look of the breed. Plus, I really prefer them without tails [safer, too]. Anyhow, that's not an Aussie anyway..you can tell by the body shape and size. Aussies are stockier; Border Collies are leaner. That's a Border Collie :)
