Really weird picture...tell me what you think.?

I was out at my dads beach house this summer and took a pic of the water. I just uploaded the picture onto my computer and noticed this almost human figure walking into the shore. Can you please tell me what you think.( the picture was taken witha digital camera.. http://www.flickr.com/photos/35438365@N03/?saved=1 its easier to see it when you maxmize the pic but i dont really know how.

It does look kind of like a human shadow, but the moon looks like a pretzel, so I don't really know what to say to that one.

I think it is a good example of pareidolia. I looked at the picture before I read the rest of your question, and didn't see anything. When I looked at it again after reading the full question I could see it. I think it is just a reflection of the light. It is dark and there are waves that could cause the shadow.
It can't be a ghost, if that's what you mean. Ghosts are supposed to be non-physical. Your camera works by reading light. Light is a physical phenomena.

I did maximise it and then I used a magnifying glass and it that pic are very 3 distinct orbs and a shadow of a figure in both of your pictures. I think personally that you caught an apparition and a very good one at that. I don't care what others may say about what I saw as I really took allot of time studying it and I know what I am seeing is clearly a dark figure. There is doubt in my mine about this and you should be proud of what you caught. My investigative team was doing an old Mansion that had been built in 1839 and I caught not only a full bodied apparition of a female dressed in period clothing, but also caught part of a male arm with a brown jacket sleeve holding her hand and right behind her is a face of and older man. This picture has been analysed several times by professionals and it has been deemed to be authentic by all of them. When I was taking pictures at that time, I did not see what I had captured until I got home and downloaded into my computer. This picture and several others that I have taken along with a couple of other investigators from my team also have pictures on our Website. I think this is a great picture and do not let anyone tell you that Spirits cannot be caught on camera or that you are crazy. Because that is a lie. You caught an apparition and you are not seeing things nor are you crazy.
Since there are visible clouds covering portions of the moon, it appears that the moon may be catching the clouds at an angle that is casting a shadow onto the water. It is a very nice picture though.
did you notice that the moon kind of looks like a hand with the thumb stuck up like its trying to catch a ride somewhere? Very cool picture. Its most likely just shadows on the water that just happen to resemble a human form for the instant that you shot the picture. Otherwise, I would suspect you would have seen it. If there is a bright light source behind you, its possibly even your own shadow. Water can be fickled when it comes to light refraction. Little ripples in the water might refract light from behind you, while overall you are seeing the refraction of the moon. edit: Also, hold on to that photo. Fluke or not, this is the type of photo that has the potential to be a classic ghost photo. Its even better than the grey lady decending the stairs photo. edit: Here is the love/dolphine piece mentioned by another answerer. I saw both images immediately so I must be an adult with a childs heart I guess. The other day I washed a table coaster and left it standing up to dry. When I returned, the gravity caused the water to look like a full out elephant. I was shocked. I personally think sometimes the world makes images that appear as something significant based on our own perception and what we have been exposed to. There's a 'famous' picture of two people making love..show it to any adult and that's what they see. However, if you show it to a child, the only thing they can make out of the picture is dolphins jumping through the air. The child hasn't been exposed to sexuality yet and doesn't perceive the two people, whereas the adult's have been (and likely are thinking about it more than dolphins) causing them to only be able to see the two lovemakers. I think it's just the water and you perceive a ghostly figure!
That's a really awesome pic! I can totally see a figure there. What's wrong with the Moon though? Can you take a picture of the same spot in the daytime too? That would help to reference what you are looking at in the dark. Wushuboy sees the Moon as a thumb hitching a ride, I immediately saw a heart though. ;) I think you should take more pictures of that area and see what else you come up with.
Go to the same place and at the same time (the sooner the better) and try to retake the pic from the exact same location. If nothing much has change in the environment and you see sort of the same figure, then more than likely its just a shadow reflection or something, but if its completely gone while everything else is in place (with the moon at the right angle), then more then likely it was something or a reflection of something that moved.

People see what they want to see. It's just a bunch of shadows that happen to look a bit like a person. A total coincidence.
Spooky looking... if this is real then thats real creepy. Also there also seems to be some sort of weird writing on the picture, right below where the shadow is. I can't make out what it says, maybe its not english.
that is a creepy looking picture, but honestly, I don't get any vibes from it. In pictures, in order to tell if it's a spirit or just a blob of dust, I usually go by feel, if there's a spirit, I can usually feel it's presence, and my vibe is that your picture is just a wierd shadow, not an actual thing.

It appears blurry. Was the camera out of focus. Could this have been done with Photoshop - superimposing an image onto another image? Appears as if there is the shadow of a standing person, and the reflection shows a walking person. I cannot make out the writing that another answerer speaks about.
