why would my friend show people my pictures and have them say bad things about them?

About a year and a half ago, my friend would always tell me that the pictures I took and put on myspace were really weird and creepy. She'd bring them up in person and say to people who had me added, "Aren't her pictures weird on there?" They were regular pictures people take of themselves I thought. She also told me that she showed this guy the pictures at her house and he said eww. I haven't taken pictures of myself in a year now because I just don't feel comfortable being in pictures, but she is one of the people now always telling me to accept myself and stuff like that, but how can she tell me this when she used to say all that other stuff?

1. There are two possible answers to this question. a) you're friend could be looking out for you, maybe these pictures that you thought were okay were actually not really nice to other people. She could have shown that guys the pictures to see if it was just her thinking this or if others thought the pictures were bad too. Now she thinks she was wrong to say and do that, and she actually does want you to accept yourself, maybe she felt guilty because you haven' taken any pictures in a year. b) She was jealous. Simple as that. whatever the reason is remember not too lose faith in yourself and to always be who you really are and do not try to be someone else :) hope this helped
