What the heck animal is this?

We found this amazing creature on some 'cute pics' type website ( http://bellflower.elfle.com/surprise.html ) and we want to know more, anybody? Its the seventh picture down on the page after the cat in the bath.

2. Well I think that is is a monkey of some sort, maybe a baby lemur. It looks like it has an opposable thumb. Or maybe a possum.
3. It looks like it's a kind of possum. Not an OPOSSUM from North America, but a POSSUM from Australia. There are 70 species though, and I'm not sure which it is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Possum

5. It's an Aussie possum - note the leaves and the bark on the tree; they are Gum, or eucalyptus leaves and bark.
