My Funny Picture

How can i keep all these pics organized?

I've been collecting pics from the internet for some time now and i have a huge mess. Anything under the sun, including the sun among other scientific interests, famous people, funny people, funny animals, things that are gross, weird, beautiful, amazing, abstract; paintings, drawings, photographs, scans from old magazines, you name it. Should I just dump everything in one folder? I can't keep track anymore!

1. try Adobe CS4 brige. it might help out. its free at www.adobe.com
2. Why not sit down and think of some categories? Maybe use those that microsoft does for its clip art such as 'people, places, vehicles, animals' etc. Once you've come up with the categoires you can put all the photos that meet that crieria into a folder. Alternativly, most good and even free photo software (such as Windows Live Photo) will allow you to tag photos, so you can have multiple tags for one picture should it fit into more than one category, you can then use the programme to put them in order. given the fact you felt the need to ask us, I guess it plays on your mind and you'll feel better for doing it! ;)
3. I am collecting pics too, but still move them to appropriate folders manually. By the way, have you tried to look for duplicates? I was amazed, how many duplicates were in my collection.
