What are some really funny children's picture books?

I am looking for picture books for age 6-12 that are appropriate but very funny and popular.

1. Probably a little to young but there is a great book called Aliens Love Underpants -but its for toddlers. Ricky Gervais's Flanimals?
2. ammillia badillia [younger but fun to read hank the cowdog [for older] they are both great books and they're both in series so there is more than one story to enjoy. i used to read them all the time. :)

5. The best picture book I own is Sam's Sandwich, I love it although its for younger kids! PS I am 48!
6. The Mr Men and Miss Book are funny. My son loves Don't let the Pigeon Drive the Bus. Curious George is good too. i would go to www.Amazon.com and find a genre under the age group.
