1. You shouldn't really be prank calling people. But if it's been a thing that has been going on and on between you and a friend for a while, then it would be a little more acceptable. If this is the case, then the most I can say is to pretend to be working for a magazine, and say, "Thank you for your subscription to our dating magazine. Your total bill is $103.75 (or any random number.) This is especially good if your friend is married. Just be sure they won't get offended, and they know soon after that it was a joke (we don't want people to get divorced because of a simple joke, do we?)
