Can you get heart attack from scary pranks?

Hi, can you get heart attack from scary pranks? I mean if someone scares you and you get really scared. Thnx

1. It's possible, but if it does happen they would have already had a condition to cause it. Scaring someone can get their heart rate and breathing to increase. If the person has a severe heart issues the extra work could make their heart burn out and collapse. Basically, they were a ticking time bomb before you scared them. You just sped the timer up a few seconds. I wouldn't worry about it happening in a healthy person though.
2. Yes. If they had a heart condition, a scary prank could easily kill them. But healthy people could die too, if you got their heart rate high enough.
3. That or if you are really old or play too much video games. Not mention people with nervous disorders as well.
4. you cant get one from scary pranks..but u can trigger it or make it worst with a prank. most people who with have m.i's usually ignore the signs and pretend as though things are fine,really when they have chx pains. scaring someone will make the hr increase making the heart more hungry for o2. now think if its a clot the which only a little blood can get through and u scare them...they could die. if u do decide to prank this person make sure u have aspirins,o2,nitro,morphine.
5. Someone with a very weak heart might be affected, but for others it's more of a reflex reaction to fear (palpitations, faster heart beat, etc.). That said, I have read of seniors suffering a heart attack in extreme, scary situations.
6. Simple, scary pranks might stun someone but usually not that much to cause a heart attack. Unless, of course, they have a pre-existing cardiac problem.
