Why when i download pictures do they end up in a weird folder on my computer?

when i download music or videos using mozilla firefox, they all get downloaded into a folder named mozilla downloads > and it is set as so in my options, however if i download a document or picture, sometimes when i go to locate it in the folder it does not end up in mozilla downloads but in some weird folder. How can i change this? and why does this occur?

1. When you download anything and windows prompts you to save, you just select the folder you want the document to go to.
