How to I retrieve the previous Windows Live Messenger display pictures I've had?
I deleted some pictures accidentally, but if I got onto my Windows Live Messenger, I previously used them as display pictures and I can still use them as they are saved there. I was just wondering if there is any other way for me to find them in a WLM folder or something so I can get them back?

- If You're using Windows XP they'll be in the folder: C:\Documents and Settings\<YOUR WINDOWS USER NAME>\ Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Messenger\<YOUR MSN USER NAME>\ObjectStore\UserTile For Windows Vista it'll be: C:\Users\<YOUR WINDOWS USER NAME>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\ Messenger\<YOUR MSN USER NAME>\ObjectStore\UserTile ( that is if your windows is on your disk C ) if for exemple your windows user is "Marcus" ( the username you use to log into windows itself, if you get directly to the desktop when you startup then you can see that name on top in your start-menu ), and your WLM user is bria@hotmail.com then the folder will be C:\Documents and Settings\Marcus\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\ Messenger\ bria@hotmail.com\ ObjectStore\UserTile for XP and C:\Users\Marcus\AppData\Local\ Microsoft\ Messenger\bria@hotmail.com\ ObjectStore\UserTile for Vista The files use as extension .dt2 but they're images don't worry .. open them with the Paint accessory and you'll see :) Merry Xmas
