MSN messenger users cannot see my yahoo messenger display picture?

I have just updated to the latest yahoo messenger 10.0 and my friends on MSN cannot see my display picture on yahoo messenger and neither can I see their Msn display picture on their messenger why is that?

1. simply because micosoft and yahoo use different `systems'/programs to attract people to use their own network. Microsoft dont want Yahoo to steal what could be their punters - so to speak. i have never been able to use msn with yahoo messenger together in their full capacity . It is better to just get everyone on one network ...like Yahoo for it all to work properly
2. People using Yahoo! Messenger won't see their contacts' display pictures if their contacts are using Windows Live Messenger, and vise versa. If you're using Windows Live Messenger, you'll just see the Yahoo! yellow smiley icon, and i think it's the same if you're using Yahoo! Messenger. - Dylan =]
