4. In my opinion no, I scroll through the questions and don't even bother looking at the avatars until I'm entering the question.
5. I go by question, not by pic, but I do like to look at the pics, the grey faces are boring.

13. I would say any picture would get more attention than a regular avatar. Reason why, all start looking the same. Got bored with my avatar. Animal pics, of course, many animal lovers out there. I would say yes, any pic would get more attention, because the majority here used are avatars.

Hmm... good question, I was wondering if people get recognised by their name or their pic, and I think the pic gets recognised first especially if it's not an avatar, cos there's loads that look the same. Having said that when you gave yourself a pic I didn't really recognise you, and thought someone else was using your nickname cos I'm so used to seeing you with a smiley face!! To sum up, I do think animal pics are more noticable than avatars.

19. It doesn't really matter to me, except in the cases of kitties with addictive personalities, but I do think that animal pics get more attention than regular avatars (in general, any pic will, as they're just so much more interesting and unique).
