Is the Prankster held liable if someone dies from a scary prank?

Just out of curiosity, I'm watching the tv show Scare Tactics and I was wondering if a person would be held liable if someone is perhaps, "scared to death" or suffers from a fatal hard attack due to a scary prank that you pulled on them? Whatever the case is, there are no weapons involved, they just died from your scary prank

  1. :OI watch that show but not that one where someone died? What was the prank?
  2. Yes, the prankster could be held liable for involuntary manslaughter.
  3. I think the answer would rest on whether or not you knew the person suffered from heart problems. Or perhaps if you had mentioned to another person that your intent was to cause harm to the person.
  4. I think they could be. Most likely youd be charged with man slaughter.
  5. yes. it's practically stabbing someone in the chest. it's fatal, and it's considerred murder o_o
  6. Im watching the same thing. I don't know but I do know If someone dies as the cause of someone doing a "crime" they can be charged with murder of anyone who dies from your actions. If the prank is not a crime, I doubt it. But if they break into a house to scare someone that is held accountable.
  7. I guess it's possible if you knew a person with a bad heart and you scared him to death. There are lawyers out there for about anything imaginable.
