How do I rebuild my town on Animal Crossing Wild World DS?

Its just because I have loads of my friends pics, about 50 or something in my saved mail at the town hall, I also have every golden item and I dont want to loose all of that, its a perfect town but I want to start fresh but not having to get loads of pics and golden items. I have also completed the museum so would that all go? Im not bothered about that its something to work on again which will be exciting. I need answers soon because I really need to know!! I dont want to loose any of my golden items or pics, could I leave them in my friends town and rebuild and then get them back

1. if you rebuild the town, everything gets lost and you start fresh like you only just arrived in the town from the taxi.
2. Yes you can give your belongings to a friend, rebuild that town then get it back. If on wifi connection then you'd have to give that new Friend Code somehow. If on DS Download Play then it wouldn't be much of a problem becuase you are right by your friend. Also (even though there is no need to say this) Make sure its a friend that you absolutely trust because they can always keep it once you give the items to your friend. For rebuilding your town, I'm not really sure on what would happen when you rebuild it but its most likely (to my knowledge) that everything would go away (Fossils,Fish,etc.) The town would change into a different layout, new animals would be there.
3. -give all the stuff you want preserved to a VERY TRUSTFUL FRIEND THAT YOU ABSOLUTELY CAN POSITIVELY ALWAYS TRUST AND MAKE sure that they don't lose any of them.. -rebuild the town -tell the friend the your new friend code (if the game gives you a new one) and both of u open the gates -take all the stuff back i guess that's it? :)
