Why do some 12 year old girls dress like whores?

I'm not even trying to be mean or anything but serious I have seen a few 12 year old girls dressing like whores. I've seen their myspace pages and they have belly button piercings and are wearing ADULT revealing bikinis and trying to be really sexual in their pictures. What business does a 12 year old girl have wearing super low cut jeans and taking mirror pics of her in a tight revealing bikini in sexual poses?! I'm 17 and I wear low-cut jeans but you know what? I can do that because I'm almost an adult and I'm in college. I didn't just get out of ELEMENTARY school! I remember when I was 11/12, I took a picture of myself fully clothed in the mirror with my dad's digital camera and he smacked that camera out of my hands so fast that it wasn't even funny. He hid the camera from me and I was so mad at the time but now looking bad, I'm glad he did because I would have uploaded it to the internet and pervs would have seen it. Also, when I was that age, I was playing Neopets and had stuffed animals and colored and did art for fun. I'm not even a prude either, it's just really sad to me. Those pictures on those girls myspaces weren't regular pics of young pre-teen girls having fun, they were trying to be SEXUAL. My dad would have killed me and took my computer away permanently if I did that at 12. If I dressed like that as a pre-teen, my dad would have shoved his foot so far up my ass, it's not even funny. Why do some 12 year old girls dress like that? Where are their parents? I don't even have a Myspace. I have a Facebook and I do have pictures of myself on there, but they are regular normal pictures of me smiling. I never take pics of myself with kissy faces or of me trying to be sexy or in sexual poses. And I still get hot guys :) I didn't dress or act like a whore at 12 and I don't act like one now at 17 either.

2. im betting a lot of it has to do with bad parenting. either the parent doesn'tt care, or the parentdoesn'tt have enough time to pay attention to what their child is doing, or maybe the parent is trashy too! a lot of things have changed since i was a teen. i have a little sister who is quite a bit younger than me and she lost her virginity at a very young age, i guess a lot of kids these days are losing their virginity younger and younger!

My sister has a friend exactly like this .. from the time she got boobs she was dressing like a lil whore .. and hasnt changed in the last 4 years and guess what she just turned 16 and got a great b-day present from herself , a positive pregnancy test ... and Her mother IS HAPPY ABOUT THE Pregnancy .. all i can say is wow .. and if my daughter ever behaves like this she will be picking her teeth off the floor
4. This reminds me of that show, Tiaras and Toddlers or something. I mean they don't exactly dress up like whores, but they were dressing up like adults (bikinis and all that). But do you see the attitudes they put out during the show ? And the way they treat their parents like they were slaves? And all those, weren't the kids' fault. It's their parents. I know we're not talking about toddlers here but... same deal. Maybe, the parents actually encourage the kids to do it. Maybe they honestly think that striking poses in bikinis, and sexy outfits online / in front of people is sexy and adorable for such young age. Maybe they want their kids to be models when they grow up.... I don't know what else...

My young 12 and 13 yo girls still allow me to shop for them....and I monitor their facebook. And yeah,I agree...i wouldn't use the word whore though. More like bait for sexual predators. 8. I have no idea. They think it's sexy, I suppose. Miley Cyrus has taken all these pictures & a lot of them look up to her, so they think it's okay. Number one, teens aren't sexy (I am a teen and I think this). If teens can't be sexy, 12 year olds sure as hell aren't sexy. Honestly, if I did what they did, I would have a few slaps and my computer would be gone forever. My cousin is 12, and dresses like a hoe. She took a picture in just her bra & underwear with socks on. What did her mother do? Absolutely nothing. Then again, her mom (my first cousin) is a hoe too. It's ridiculous some parents cannot say no or punish their children properly (and I don't mean spanking is the only proper way, either)
9. You know, I'm 12 too and I totally agree with you! (No I'm not one of those skanky, disgusting, feral... ugh...) Well, here is an example of how girls my age are turning out: I went to the Perth Royal Show which is like one of the biggest shows here in Perth, and I didn't see ONE normal 12-15 year old... they all looked like the most ugly, slutty, skanky, losers, with those short shorts I like to call denim underwear, tight singlets that were so low, mine as well wear nothing at all, the most disgustingly applied makeup you've ever seen (thick, orange, TOO much eyeliner) and that horrible hairstyle I hate SO much, I call it the look - you know, the thin, greasy, straight bleach blonde/jet black hair, with a teased mullet, and the emo sidefringe across their face... it is SO gross, and just the class of people I saw, it was just feral, after bogan, after skank!!! I don't know if I should just ignore it and move on, but there are girls in my class (and I'm talking a good class private girls school) who are starting to look like that, in year 8! It's so foul... I don't know what my age girls are gonna be like in 10 years time, it's bad enough now... They think they're so hot and sexy... and in fact it's ugly. You're so right, on myspace, there are all those losers who I laugh at with their orange, 3 inch thick makeup posing for the camera, in bikinis and just their bras and stuff... oh my gosh I want to punch the computer when I see those girls... I don't know, but I think 12-14 year old girls even older, should be wearing appropriate stuff, you don't have to look bad and dress well, I normally wear jeans and boots, and I don't know why they all have to look the same, and why can't they make their own style? I know I've got my own style, and it doesn't have to look skanky, to look good... And don't even get me started on piercings (apart from earings of course) ... but the nose studs, and tounge studs, and bellybutton studs... GRR!! It's just so tacky and makes you look like a total... i won't say it... So I do actually like this question, being a teenager who likes fashion and is a little more mature than those anorexic/bulemic/severely obese teens. I see... I just don't understand why most girls my age can't actually dress nicely, and why they all have to look the same? What happened to natural beauty? I think in my opinion, it's okay to wear a little makeup, and it's okay to take a nice picture of yourself for a profile picture, but the way some girls do it... grr, it's true... they do look like whores!!! In actual response to the question in the title, I think 12 year old girls dress like whores because of media influence, and peer pressure, and their friends then force them to dress like them, and then they think they look hot... I know I went off the question a little. But that's my opinion. On the crap that is growing up in the teenage world today. It is sad. Where their parents are? They don't have parents like you and I do, who actually raise their kids well, give them good guidence, and can say the word NO. And the bad thing is, it's going to get worse, and I hope when I grow up and have kids, I can guide them well, and make sure they don't end up like the kids today... It's gross. I know. Nothing we can do... ... And I'm kinda sick of growing up in the middle of it.

12. Why does any female dress like that? Low self esteem. The idea that one has to look like a slut to attract men. Pressure from peer group and a society that sends loads of mixed messages about attractiveness and propriety. Attention from men (the ones who appreciate that kind of clothing anyway... I personally wouldn't want to attract that sort of riff-raff). Social pressure to have boyfriends. Pop culture and the inability to turn away from that. Not having parents who raised them to think higher of themselves than that. Or not having a close and open enough relationship with their parents that they'd listen to advice about it. The only age-related factor is that it's happening younger these days. The rest is pretty much a universal for women.
13. because 12 year old girls are copying older people, like YOU. you just said youre 17, and do it now and you think its okay, but if youre uploading it to myspace or whatever, younger people will copy because they think its what everyone's doing right now. when i was like 12, i used to copy what everyone else posed like in their pictures. its up to their parents at the end of the day, to keep an eye on what their children are up to on the internet.
14. these days 12 yr olds can be whores. sometimes its bc of there parents not being around and they strive for any kind of attention. and they think putting themselves out there like that will get them attention. and they dont care how they get it. they just dont understand how they are ruining themselves by doing that. they are more likley to be raped by an older boy. or even forced to have sex with an older boy.
