why wont the pictures display on my camera after uploading them on my pc?

after i'd taken pictures i put them on my pc and now when i go to look at them on the camera it says 'cannot display image. HIPM0361.JPG' thankss no, definanally not deleted becuase if they where deleted nothing would appear but a messages appeares saying 'cannot display'

1. maybe you deleted them when you transferred them
2. It's because the camera doesn't have the DCIM (Digital Camera Image Management) file it needs to know where in the cards memory space pictures begin and end. In other word your camera can't 'see' them. The pictures on the card after downloading to the PC should be OK, it's only if you have changed the data in any way, which could be something as simple as putting another picture on the card or putting a picture back onto the card, then all the pictures will 'disappear' as the DCIM file no longer is correct and the camera can't find anything.
