How do you get the display pictures from Windows Live Messenger to save on my desktop?

I can take pictures with my webcam for WLM, but it only shows as a display picture. I want to use these pictures for other things. How do I get them to save somewhere else?

1. right click the picture, then select save picture as... and save it some where. then you can go into there and use it for what ever you want.
2. on XP: c:\ Documents and Settings\username \ Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\ Messenger\windowsliveid\ObjectStore on Vista/7: c: \Users\username\ AppData\Local\ Microsot\Messeger\wi ndowsliveid\ ObjectStore Where username is your Windows username and windowsliveid is your Windows Live ID e-mail address. Additionally, some of these folders will be hidden by default, to see them simply press the Alt key on the keyboard in any Windows Explorer window to bring up the toolbar, click Tools, then Folder Options, then the View tab, and then choose 'Show hidden files and folders'.
