My mom found a little thing that looked like a worm in her apricot yogurt the other day. I looked at it under my microscope and would now like some of you genius science expects out there to help me in identifying it. Is it actually a worm or just some apricot fuzz? I apologize for the quality of the pictures. (Take note of the strange circle at the end-not the air bubbles, the one attached to the end): http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd266/machupichu25309/2169.jpg A horrible picture of the little circle at the end at 400x: http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd266/machupichu25309/2170.jpg Now, although a biology freak myself, I have been unable to identify this and find myself uncertain. My instinct is that it is not a worm as I have been unable to identify any parts I am familiar with, but maybe you can do better? Thanks.
