Are the Captioned pictures of cats funny?
I can haz ur Internetz? Ian, read my profile, Vini is deliberate. Vini = Wine I drank, I saw, I kicked its behind My Latin and the other 15 languages I speak are just peachy, thank you. Abusus non tollit usum - Wrong use does not preclude proper use. Credidi me felem vidisse! - I seez catz Naturally Bibere, Vidi, Vici is not as similar structurally but for the purposes of making it look like Veni Vidi Vici, Vini is far closer. Brevis esse latoro obscurus fio - When I try to be brief, I speak obtusely

- oh my god the LOLcats i love them HAHAHAHA!!!
- Most are about as funny as being slugged in the face with a broken beer bottle. Vini vidi vici ... your Latin and English skills are appalling. I came, I saw ,I conquered is the correct translation of the latin phrase Veni vidi vici. (Vini, means wine not 'drink'.) Veni, vidi, and vici are first person perfect tense forms of the Latin verbs venire, videre, and vincere.
- bahah those pictures are hilarious. Some of the captions I have to read over and over to figure out what the hell it's saying. But they're very cute.
- Yes, I find many captioned animail photos, whether cat, dog, raccoon, ferret, etc. amusing so long as it's a mammal and preferably very furry. Captioned photos of lizards, dolphins, elephants or other non-furry beasts just aren't as funny for some reason. Significantly, I don't find captioned photos of human children particularly amusing. Perhaps because they're not furry? Ah, but monkey photos aren't all that funny either. Interesting point and one that bears further examination. Thanks.
