My Funny Picture

Do you think it's funny when people post pictures of themselves on here and?

1. they look nothing like their avatar 2. they are super ugly or weird looking and people tell them they're cute or hot 3. you know they're posting the picture bc they think they're good looking and want compliments which is funny bc thye're ugly agree or disagree? i always have a good laugh at the pictures and nice comments haha i wonder waht would happen if i posted a picture of myself on here...pretty much yahoo answers would crash bc i'd get so many flattering comments haha there have been times when i don't look at a picture (98.5% of the time i do look) so maybe those two pictures i didn't look at were actually good but i doubt it girl (top contributor): not ugly (sorry) and i'm not being rude, besides i wasn't trying to offend you, your picture is cute... if i was rude i'd leave them all a comment of what i really think, since i am a nice guy i just don't comment at all and pretend i never saw their picture and try to block the image off my mind so i can sleep at night jk. this is all in good fun

1. It makes feel sorry for them because they need strangers to give them self confidence. But it's always interseting to see how people look like, not in a weird way.

4. Erm, you're a tad rude, aren't you? Just because you're ugly doesn't mean you need to insult those with confidence. Some people post pictures here in order to gain some semblance of reassurance. And others have genuine questions regarding their appearance. I see nothing laughable about any of that. EDIT: I didn't really feel as though you were personally attacking me, I just believe that on a whole it's a rude statement to make.
5. well. i put my picture as my avatar a long time ago.. and i have wantedto change it, but the last time i tried.. something weird happened and it did not allow me to have ANYTHING at all.. there was this X sign... and yes. ill have to agree with some things you mentioned there..

7. Well for me it depends. Say a transsexual posts a picture of themselves asking should they go through with FFS or not then I can agree with that. But a majority of the posts I see involving pictures involve one of the reasons you listed in one way or another.

9. I think you just have a different taste from that the people have. If they think they are good-looking, it is very good for them. It is much worse to think that you are ugly, when you are really beautiful. As for me, I was in category 2 till being 23 or so. But when men were always looking at me, saying me that I am good-looking and charming, I have changed my ideas. But still I don't have my picture here.
10. I think it is fun to see what people look like! Sometimes they look nothing like their avatars; but I've been amazed that some people look a lot like their avatars. If it is someone worried about their appearance, I try to be both encouraging and honest. If they would look good if only they'd lose 20 pounds and work out, I tell them that. If I honesly think they are cute, I'll tell tham that also. I'm sure you are cute. You'd make Y!A crash for sure. ;) P.S. -- If they are dogs, I don't say anything because it won't help them if I make a cruel comment.
11. No. No I don't think it's funny. And you have to be careful with that. Sometimes people post links to compromised websites that steal information/plant viruses in forum type websites such as Yahoo Answers. Even be careful what you post in here. I've noticed that information is being leaked to outside websites who are linking to Y!A. You may think you're only posting in Yahoo but in reality you may be posting on lots of other outside websites. The worst part is when you delete the information on Yahoo it doesn't get deleted from those other websites who linked to the question/answer. (and those other websites show your real Yahoo screen name - not the one that you may have chosen specifically for Y!A.)

13. oh,hahaha,i only did when i said "how much does your avatar resembles you?" and also when i ask "do you find this attractive?" and described myself there,hahaah,and so i had to put myspace,hahaha...so yeah,im that kind of pathetic people,thou i never hoped the compliments...i really dont care....
