On MSN messenger, how can you get the display picture to not zoom in and resize itself?

My display picture on MSN messenger keeps resizing itself and zooming in on one part of my photo. How can I get the FULL picture to show and not just part of it? I have tried to make the photo smaller, but it still didn't work!
