this guy is so weird i just cant figure him out....?

ok im in high school and i have been sick for the past 2 weeks and haven't been in school. there is this guy who i think likes me and today my friend who is in my algebra class with him called me and told me that he asks about me like everyday and i guess today he said "oh my gosh i miss her (me) so much. i have to keep looking at her picture just to remember what she looks like". does it sound like this guy like me?
