weird to take pictures with your dog?

have had my doggie for 17 years and I am 18. Tomorrow I want to go take pictues with my dog, but everytime I tell someone they just laugh at me. Is it normal for people to take pictures with their pets?

1. LOL that's a weird question, but yes it is. Your friends are odd... do they not have dogs? I got my senior pictures taken with my dalmation, and she was one of my bride'smaids XD. Yes, I know that's a little weird, but I wanted her in a few of the pictures so that's what i called her.

5. I sure would. If it is weird, then I wanna be weird too. Around here, photographers advertise pictures of pets, you with your pet, so a lot of people must do it. A girl I work with had her little girl photographed with their dog, in a wagon, and sitting together, and it was so adorable you could plotz.
6. Absolutely normal! I have many many many many many pics of my dogs with me.

Sure it's normal, all my friends who love their dogs have pictures taken of themselves with their dogs - some of them have Christmas cards made with those pictures, some even use them on their business cards. The people who laugh at you are deprived emotionally, they have never had that bonding with a companion animal that is needed to understand what a wonderful thing that is. Go for the pictures, ignore the clueless, sounds as if you love your dog, and that's just fine.
8. Not weird at all, a dog is a member of the family, so it's only like getting a picture done with your brother or sister or any other family member. l have lots of pictures of me and my dogs.
9. I have several pictures of me and my pets. I have some professional ones too. But I didn't have to pay for it a professional photographer did it for free if I would model with my dogs to promote it. I would have to say total of pictures that I have of my pets and me with my pets would be around 200. I have 6 none fish pets though
10. It is very normal..I do all the time!! I also have 600+ pics of my dog on my MySpace...okay I might be the crazy old dog lady, and be overdoing it, but I love my dog..who cares what other people think. Dog's your best friend! :)
