Are scary pranks detrimental to younger adults? I.E Can you scare someone to death?

I know the question sounds silly, but I was thinking of playing an uber scary trick on my brother, and hooking up 3 - 4 strobe lights and speakers to an extension cord, and left unplugged outside his room. Then, in early morning 2-3 AM, I would plug everything in at the same time, and the strobe lights will go off, flashing at the head of the bed, and the speaker will play a looped screaming sound. My only reluctance is that I am afraid I might scare him TOO much. Yeah I know it is silly: he is a track runner, good health, yadayada but I know if I were to be scared like that, I would be pretty d**** shocked out of my mind.

1. It is possible to scare someone to death because it puts pressure on there heart and cause a heart attack. But this would happen in more elderly people. Just enjoy your brothers reaction haha

3. I say go for it. Your not going to kill him. He will pee the bed and probably be pretty mad for a bit. In the long run he will think its funny in a few years

Isn't that a lot of trouble for a silly prank.Not to mention the screaming from the tape and your brother will wake up every one in the house.You failed to mention how old he is.Don't try it if he is under 8.You could give him night terrors for the rest of his life.If he is between 10-15,that would be really entertaining.He would be scared stiff.But having a heart attack is seriously unlikely. But try another prank.Get your self a mask like the one terrorists use.Get fake guns and fake knives,sneak into his room and terrorize him.

7. I think you should take down 1 or 2 strobe lights and make sure the volume isn't too loud, otherwise you might burst his eardrums. The body almost shutsdown when one sleeps so it's best that you do this at least a notch or 2 lower. or you could do this before he goes to bed (maybe after he saw a scary movie)
