does anyone know about an animal called a neutral or have pics?
This animal is possibly a rodent and is known to inhabit the area around Colorado City Lake, Texas. They eat/tear-up styrofoam and wood, constanly destroying docks and peirs. The locals call them neutrals, but I think they might be neutra rats...cant find a pic though or any info on them. any help is apreciated.

- Nutria, AKA Swamp Rat. Maybe you could try looking for it under that name. Or try looking at something regarding destruction of the Everglades.
- They surly mean nutria. Texas people aren't the sharpest.
- Could you be thinking of a Nutria? Its a rodent similar to a rat, very destructive. Can carry plague bearing fleas and other diseases emanating from their burrows or nests.

- They are called Nutria. They look like a cross between oversized guinea pigs, beavers an otter and a rat. Here is a picture of one from Yahoo images http://mud.mm-a2.yimg.com/image/338749472.
