is there a reason msn live messenger for windows changes my display picture to a lower res version?
i was happy with the new msn, animated display pics was a good addition but i have noticed that after i log out and in again my display pic is suddenly more blurry and looks like its had colour taken from it. is there a way to fix this? and is this issue because it saves them as gifs because of the new ability to have animated ones

- I'm guessing they change the quality to be able to transfer that image across the web with greater speed as larger files take more time. There may be a way around it, but is it really worth the time?
