strange cardboard 'fortune telling'? cards? [with pictures inside]?

I have these strange cardboard cards,they are a little biggerthan regular tarot cards. on them, there are star constellations [so it looks], a random playing card in the top left [ex; king of clubs♣], on the top right there is a letter.[ex. K]. in the middle, there is a larger picture ,i cant explain them... and on the bottom there are more smaller pictures and in the bottom middle of each card, there is a type of flower. 1. They appear to be strange cardboard cards with weird pictures on them. A slight variation on tarot cards. You are right about the "fortune telling" part. But the only fortune they tell is you parting with some money for the "medium". My guess is they an accessory that came with a popular game called "Smoke and Mirrors" A parlor trick that removed cash from Knobs stupid enough to fall for them.
2. The cards are from a set issued by a magazine way back in the early thirties.They are fortune-telling cards,and I suppose came with instructions.You can use the playing cards for Numerology,the Initials for Names,and the others like the Flowers, for people's signs. etc.It's interesting to see for different fortune telling methods on one card.
