My Funny Picture

Is it normal that when I look in the mirror, I really like what I see and when I look at pictures of me..?

I don't like pictures of myself. I always look weird on pictures. *any tips for good pictures? yes I know, my face just look squarish on pictures and in the mirro it look more ovalish

3. I have the same problem. Some people just look really different in pictures. You could try and experiment and find a certain angle (always turn your face) for pictures that makes you look good. A lot of celebrities do this (arely take strait forward pictures).

6. I feel the same way. I think the trick is to find the few facial expressions and poses that suit your body and face and try to use them when photos are being taken.
7. it's totally normal, i think it's partly because photos are more likely to catch you when you're not looking your best for whatever reason, and then you see them and think you actually look that way. ive seen videos and pictures of myself taken with the same camera and i look way better in the videos (and also more like myself) because a frozen image of somebody's face is artificial--it's not how people are meant to be looked at. yeah some people can pull it off, but even beautiful people take weird photos sometimes. its the way the face works.

9. that always happens to me and i get so frustrated becasue when i want to take a picture for my facebook and i look pretty good in the mirror, it comes out reallyyy bad and i have to take it like 10 times before i get a good one! :[ i hate it! i think it has to do with the lens distorting the light around your face and in turn the light distorts your face and the shade of your skin and stuff. because when i take pictures my skin looks a certian way in the mirror and in the pictures they are always lighter. and also my face looks bigger in pictures so i think it has something to do with the light. also the angle at which you take the picture! like if you face the camera head on it looks worse i think and if you turn your head to the side a little i think it looks better. one way that i have noticed that helps is to turn off the flash on your camera. if the flash is on especially at night it looks so bad! trust me! i experiment! :] hope this helped!
