Any validation that animal could speak or communicate?

Watch this picture... http://www.funnies.com/nighttimeprayer.htm It would be dramatic or trick, however I don't bother. Any validation in the Bible that Animals ever spoken or communicated? This is V&V section. No "spoiler" please.

  1. Well it's no secret that animals have their own ways of speaking with each other. Cats for instance, have a series of different pitched meows and grunts. You can pretty much learn to speak with your cat through the course of it's life. Now obvioulsy it could never learn english or even that many different commands in any language because of it's low intellect. As far as the bible goes, animals don't have souls. If the bible admits that they can pray or talk to God then that would be a conflict of interests. (although it already has hundreds).
  2. You posted in V&V liable for "thumbs down" by anti-V&Vs. Something interesting in # Society & Culture section posted by someone... http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20071228093940AAwwA4Y and the "majority" voted were siding the animal compassion. Let sit and watch what others say in V&V?
  3. dolphins can intercommunicate. and Koko the gorilla was taught sign language. But you won't find either reference in the bible. cute picture though This isn't really a V&V question.
  4. Animals don't speak, thats human speech. animals do communicate though, thats accepted science. We don't need the bible to tell us that. You just have to spend a few hours observing animals, including farm animals, to realise they communicate, have hierachy and social structure, know different breeds of thier species, know family members and can remember past interactions. sheep for instance, can remember 200 individual sheep and 20 humans for 5 years - they response to each in a different way depending on thier previous experiences - just like us
  5. Well, animals can speak--just not in our language. I have a very vocal cat, although feeding her invariably shuts her up, even if there's something else on her mind. Nonhuman primates have been taught American Sign Language and can communicate with people who know ASL. However, if the bible had a story about a nonhuman speaking, I couldn't give it any more credence or validation than if a novel featured a talking animal.
