Can someone give me info and pics on animal habitat destruction?

I have to do a research paper in my english class for environmental issues. I chose animal habitat destruction. My teacher says I need to look for local problems. Can anyone give me ANY information/pictures containing animal habitat destruction in Arkansas? Also, does anyone think this is a good topic? If not, any other ideas?
