  1. Any HD TV and 1080i and 1080p are important
  2. The Xbox only upscales to 1080p. Its not true HD. What that means is that it will take the amount of pixels and double it until it matches up with 1080. All that does is take away the blur that would happen if you would play it in SD. Doesnt really matter what you get. Now for the I and P. That is the most important indicator you will have on how good the Tv will be. That tells you the amount of pixels. There is SD, 420, 720, and 1080. SD (Standard Definition) is a basic TV. 420(p) was the first form of HD which means 480 pixels, and so forth. The i means that it is interlaced. Images are shown go vertically and then horizontally (thats how the image is made but it goes so fast you cant see it). This transaction happens in 1/30th of a second. P means Progressive which means it happens at the same time. I can tell the difference between 1080 and 720 and also whether it is I or P. Most people cant really tell the difference. The best tv is 1080p then 1080i then 720p.
