Animal Pics..?
Hi How can I take a picture (on digital camera) of an animal without their eyes looking green or blue when I use flash? Almost every time I take a picture of my dog with flash on, his eyes look green or blue instead of brown. When I don't use flash, the pictures don't come out as bright and clear. Any tips? my camera is the canon powershot SD600

- Don't have him look straight into your lens!
- If you have a built in strobe, then I'd suggest that you subdue the flash with a piece of gauze or some translucent plastic or avoid using the flash altogether and use only ambient lighting. Otherwise, if you have a strobe that mounts onto the hotshoe, get an "L" bracket (since it is impossible to bounce light in the outdoors). Of course, you can always try to bump up the ISO to where you won't have to use flash (but that may create issues with "noise"). What camera brand and model are you using?
