Need tattoo idea or sample for my son's name?

I am wanting to get a tattoo with my son's name. I want something special and something unique. I don't want hand or foot prints. I was kinda thinking about something like the earth in a heart shape with his name on it, since we all say my life revoles around my son, but i can find anything on net to give me a visial of what this would look like. I am open to your ideas other than this one, I would like something that fits his personality, I want his name on it also. He is 6 years old and has a wild personality that very energetic, loves everyone and everything, loves all animals and is only child. He is super wild and extremly wild personality (and is in love with all tattoos lol) he partically loves fishing swimming going to river that kind of stuff. So if anyone has any ideas on a tatt that maybe goes with his personality let me know your ideas. links to pics would be great. thanks

1. do what i did pick an animal or anything that reminds you of him and get it tattooed with some sort of memorable attachment :D
2. both of my kids are aries so i got the aries ram, with one name above & one below. with him only being 6, his interests will change alot over the years. try photobucket for some ideas.
3. A marlin or some sort of energetic fish sounds like a good idea. Since he likes to swim and is full of energy. Go visit some shops in your area and look at their flash (drawings) and portfolios. Describe what you want from the tattoo similar to your question, and give the artist some free reign to draw something. As an artist we tend to do some repetitive work and when someone comes in, like you, we love the ability to come up with a unique idea. Maybe a swordfish or marlin swimming around the Earth.
4. i have something really unique. why dont you have your son draw something out for you and you tattoo that on you.? i think that is a prefect way to make sure that the tattoo is personal and a true bond between you and your son.. at 6 i am sure he is already writing his name you should add that to the tattoo in his handwritting.
5. You should have him draw something for you, or write his name for you and have the tattoo artist do that directly :) I'm waiting for my 3 year old sister to get old enough to do this :)
