Is it possible to have an animated display picture on MSN messenger?

Is it possible to have an animated display picture/avatar on MSN messenger. I don't mean the emoticons, just the display picture. I have some cool animated pictures saved, GIF format, and they would make cool display pictures. Thanks for answering. :)

1. Unfortunately you cant currently use your own animated gifs for msn messenger display pictures.
2. Nope, you can't have animated display picture. If you put one on, it won't be animated. There's only gonna be a picture what you can find in the original GIF picture. Let's hope that they will let you put GIF format display picture in the upcoming versions :P.
