The most real and scary prank ever on halloween can be done to my friends?

I want to make the biggest prank ever: play as a serial killer while my friends are in the house, cut down the lights and the phone line, hide all their cellphones so they cant call the police. is it a good idea? (we are 17-18 years old) If they get too serious (want to kill me) i'll stop.

2. its a good plan, but kind of hard to do, and if you can't get their cell phones you could get arrested. cutting down phone line is a baddd idea, so just hide the phones. and if you stop and it's to late they might actually kill you self-defense and all that so be careful, dont take it too far!

5. Hmm...instead of cutting down the lights and phone lines (you'll have to pay for repairs) I'd suggest taking your friends out to some deserted place, and playing serial killer there. And you should watch out that none of your friends are armed or can find things to make into weapons (so you won't get hurt by anything, if one of them panics and lashes out). Also, I think it'd be good if you told at least one friend (who's in the group that you're planning to prank) your plan, because that friend could help you by pretending to be scared, suggesting that there's a serial killer, stopping other friends from leaving the house, pretending to have seen you kill someone, helping you cover up your mistakes, etc. Not to mention, this friend could stop other friends from going too far if they panic. So yeah, having an 'insider' in the group is good backup. If you need any ideas about serial killers and whatnot, you can always check out the Japanese comic book (manga) titled "Doubt," which is about a group of kids who get kidnapped, thrown into a locked building, and have to face off a serial killer who is actually one of the kids in their group. They have to find out who exactly is the serial killer before they're all killed. In conclusion: your prank sounds awesome and it'd be cool if I could do it to my friends, or at least help you do it. (Unfortunately for me, all of my friends are in the martial arts club, and at least one of them knows how to defend herself all-too-well with her mad kung-fu skillz.) Just make sure that it doesn't get too serious, because if it did, then I could see how this could backfire VERY badly on you. (And I doubt the police would be pleased to know that this was all just a prank, if one of your friends did end up calling them.)
