What are some scary phone pranks?

I am tryin to play a scary prank on my cousin's friend. He is 12. The prank is gonna be played at 12 tonight. We are gonna text him and try and freak him out. Hes kinda prepared for it, and we need to spook him. We've tried scary sounds, pics, and messages-its not workin! n/e ideas?!

Ok heres how it goes. 1) Text him from someone elses phone who he doesn't know. Write "you will die in 3 hours". 2)1/2hour -1 hour later message him saying "you will die in 2 hours". 3)Another hour later message him saying "you will die in 1 hour. 4)Message him saying "you will die in......" then have a really scary picture pop out at him. This should work really really good! *note* If you don't have enough time to do 3 hours then you can substitute hours with minutes. Hours work a LOT better so if you do have the time mak it hours.
if he won't be scared he won't be scared. Some people are just like that. I just thought of 1: predict the future through text messaging or maybe something similar like: text 1 - i'm at the back door (* knocking sounds*) text 2 - i'm at the kitchen (*rattle pot sounds from the kitchen*) text 3 - i'm at the stairs (*stepping sounds*) and all these sounds from real life come from invisible traps so when he goes to check he would see nothing and freak out. Of course use a number he doesn't know and when he calls back pick up and make gushing noises then hang up.
start with "can anyone hear you?" if yes say "move away from anyone who might hear you" if no say "good, now listen closely," if they say wtf say be quiet or ____ gets it" " i have____ in a nice car ( # ) houses down the street" " come to the car or there will be a round in ____ 's head _________= someone who you and him know, its better to have this person play along and make screams from your line anyways continue on that
call him but on a phone line that he wont recognize. like star 69 then say in the phone in a deep voice 7 hours(instead of 7 days(the ring)) then at 6 hours call again, and so on and so forth, then at 10 mins. leave a text that says 10 mins. and then if you can on your phone send a scary video or picture to him!
