How come girls with equivalent hotornot ratings won't talk to me on eharmony or match.com?

So i put 3 pictures of myself on hotornot.com and my scores were : 7.6 (a mug shot which my ex girlfriend and others said looked "scary") 8.7 (wearing a button down shirt and khakis) 9.4 (a pic my friend took of me w/ my sun glasses on) I'm defintely not a 9.4 by any means, i think the girls must of liked my nice sunglasses :) So lets take the median of my scores, the 8.7. That picture also displayed my body so it put myself fully on display and wasn't deceptive at all. But heres my problem! Every time i "wink" or try to "request communication" using either eharmony or match.com girls reject me. My success rate is miserable! So this is what I did as a test: I took the best picture from each of 5 girls that I really liked on match.com that also REJECTED me and put them on www.hotornot.com. I thought maybe they were just way out of my league, but to my surprise, all of the 5 girls i selected had hotornot scores in the 7's. Not one single 8! Why am i getting rejected so hard? I'm seriously getting the impression that these girls only want super hot guys and not just normal looking guys like themselves. I'm honestly beginning to think that my scores on hotornot are somehow "fake" and that girls don't really find me attractive at all. Also most of the women to initiate contact with me were DISGUSTING. I'm talking 5'5" 200lbs! Big fat mammies! I know I'm not hot or anything and i'm CERTAINLY NOT FAT!! So why can't i just get a normal looking non-fat girl-next-door type? Only fatties go after me? What gives?

1. Girls do indeed want normal looking guys. It might be that your profile information isn't saying what they want to hear. Work on improving your inner person and forget the outer. Girls are much more in tune with a man's heart than his looks.
2. I'm not sure, but it seems to me you are going on looks alone. True matching is a complete package: Looks, personality, character. Try again, look for someone who will be able to have a convrsation.
3. Maybe you need to work on the inner you instead of the outter you. If you are getting high scores on the website that is only for looks and low on website that tryes to let you get to know the person better. Personally i would date a less attractive man over a man who knew he was hot. That is a big turn off.
4. its becuase you are shallow and base everything on looks. girls hate that.
