  2. My opinion and please keep in mind it is just an opinion. That wire kit will work on about anything. 4 gauge wire is huge so that should be good for about any amp you pick. As for the subs, I think for the money you can do alot better. For instance, you can get Rockford Fosgate P3's at cardiscountstereos.com for about the same price. As for the amp, Ive not messed with Boss but Id imagine at that price is more likely 2-300 or so watts and not the 4000 as advertised. If your on a tight budget the Crunch amps offer alot of bang for the buck. Their power ratings are infated too but I know from personal exp. they will drive some speakers. The 1500.1 is a great amp for the $$. You can get it at CDS too. As for the horns... They may well be fine but you will need some mids to with them. Look for some 5 1/4 or 6" speakers.... Actually Id scrub the whole horn thing and just get a decent cheap compnent set. You can get a 6.5inch MB Quart set at http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/ for around 65 bucks.. OR Crutchfield has a set of 6.5 inch Polk Momos for $70 right now on sale. Last year they were $170! Keep shopping man, you'll get it worked out. (advice on amps) Ignore peak watts, they dont really matter. If you want a great amp look for CEA COMPLIANT models and look at RMS watts. (CEA is an audio standard for measuring power output) MTX, JL AUDIO, KICKER, ROCKFORD FOSGATE etc... All are CEA compliant. The ones that are not (BOSS for instance) can basically rate the power at whatever they want regardless of whether it is a real number or not.
