1. Yes...your PC needs a TV card to convert the signal into video. Check at your local PC store or electronics store. Then you will need the HD software update to see a HD feed if you have that from DirecTV. Just make sure the TV card has or monitor has the right input jacks. Tiger Direct has some good TV cards for PC's online.
